Data to Inform Teaching and Reporting
1. ASSIGN
Teachers identify and assign eBooks and Checkups to student/s within Literacy Pro. Multiple students can be assigned the same Checkup at the same time.
2. READ
Classroom teachers assign eBooks with Checkups to students from within Literacy Pro or Literacy Pro Library.
3. CHECK
Students login to Literacy Pro to complete the Checkup related to the book.
Each Checkup has 10 questions targeting a range of skills and conventions.
4. TEACH
Checkups provide the data teachers need, to address specific gaps or weaknesses in reading skills and conventions in individual students. This supports the creation of more effective IEPs, or small group instruction in every classroom.
- 12 skills and 4 conventions are tracked cumulatively on a student and class level
