Liz Watson
From crowd favourite to captain of the Australian Diamonds Liz Watson’s ascension to the top of the sport has been as swift as it has been enjoyable. Widely regarded as one of the best midcourters in the world, Liz made her Australian Diamonds debut in 2016 when she stepped on the court against England in Liverpool. In 2017, she won the inaugural Suncorp Super Netball Young Star Award for her work with the Melbourne Vixens. In 2018 and again in 2022 she was awarded Australian netball’s most prestigious award, the Liz Ellis Diamond, for her outstanding efforts running the midcourt both domestically and internationally. Liz made her professional netball debut in 2014 for the Melbourne Vixens, a team where she continues to play today.

Fiona is an award-winning Australian writer and actor. Over the past twenty years, Fiona has been writing and performing for television, film and theatre, and writing books for adults and children.
