Kim Wilkins is a Brisbane author who has published twenty novels in a variety of genres for all age groups. She has won Aurealis awards for fantasy and horror for her adult supernatural thrillers; and has also won the Romantic Book of the Year award for her epic contemporary romances penned under the name Kimberley Freeman.
For young adults, she has written a historical romance, The Pearl Hunters (published in the US as Unclaimed Heart). Her fantasy series for children, The Sunken Kingdom, is published in a number of countries.
Kim has two small children, one tall husband, and a busy schedule. She always wanted to be a writer, so is quite pleased with herself.
