Born in Dublin in 1957, Siobhan is an award-winning freelance writer and documentary-maker, whose work ranges across social history, science and environment, the arts and society.
Siobhan has twenty years experience in radio and TV, has written four non-fiction books, a memoir, and has broad experience as a teacher, public speaker and oral history consultant.
Her first book, The Snowy: The People Behind the Power, won the NSW Premier’s History Awards. Her radio programs have been shortlisted for the United Nations Media Peace Awards, the Walkley Awards, the Eureka Science Awards and Women and Media Media Awards.
